Music And Memories at Nailsea Tithe Barn

Music and Memories started by Nailsea Folk Club in 2006 with the simple aim of sharing music and songs with people with dementia and their carers.  It is now run by Nailsea Tithe Barn Trust.

It takes place once a month on a Sunday afternoons between 2 and 4.30 in the beautiful old Tithe Barn, 2 Church Lane,  Nailsea BS48 2NG.

The Barn is fully accessible for disabled people and has a welcoming, relaxing ambience.

The afternoon is free. There is a collection for those who want to make a donation. We serve tea and cakes during the break.

Anything goes.  People can come and go as they please, arrive late, leave early, wander around the barn.

Our musical programme is full of suprises with local groups and youngsters often joining us; we have had jazz, folk, sing alongs, Morris dancing, musicals, classics.

We like to sing and join in and importantly have fun. It certainly is not serious but it is often quite moving.
